Best Field Trip Ever!

 

The Fort Detrick Kindergarten Camp had the most fun we've ever had on a field trip in 10 years! the staff were just remarkable, the setting was perfect and the stories were age appropriate. The staff and parent volunteers had as much fun as the children, and we cannot wait to return next year. We may even book some preschool trips next year if you can tailor a program for 4 and 5 year olds. We cannot say enough about this perfect adventure. Personally, I have told everyone I know that they need to try it. One of my colleagues even took her children this past Sunday, but you were rained out. They did like what they saw, though, and will try again. I cannot wait until next year!

Your talented crew did a fantastic job with our school group. I will recommend your pirate cruise to everyone I know in Annapolis and visiting Annapolis. Some things worth mentioning are: 1. The music you played on the ship was exciting. 2. The face painting before boarding the ship was a great touch 3. Fun for adults too. 4. Everyone who is a part of your experience from the people at the gift shop area to the ones helping with nametags and painting to the crew and the Captain is wonderful; from the beginning to the end when everyone is helped to get off safely, it's different from any other entertainment you'll find in this area. Thank you for a really cool experience. We had a blast learning pirate lingo, hunting for treasure, and of course, shooting Pirate Pete with the water canons. We really enjoyed our field trip on the Sea Gypsy!

Once again the whole experience was unforgetable. Adults and children had such a good time, they are still talking about it in October. The staff do an outstanding job making us feel like we are the only people on the planet. Everyone takes their time and gets to know the group. Ours was a field trip with 6 year old children, staff and several parents, but from the moment we arrived, no one could tell the children from the adults. We all danced and sang and had a blast!!! From a Department of Army standpoint, I feel this is tax dollars well spent. I cannot ever imagine ever topping this experience, and I will continue to make this the crowning jewel of our annual overnight trip to Annapolis.

 

I had to go twice in one week! I am a teacher and I came with my day care last week and thought it was so amazing! My class had so much and I was really impressed at how well the workers were involved and made it fun. So today I took my two nephews because I had such an awesome time and I knew they would like it. They also had a great time and I am so glad we have something like this here in Annapolis and I can only hope that it sticks around for a while until I can have kids of my own and can take them myself! Thanks again!

 

Amazing Fund, beyond our expectations! We sailed aboard the Sea Gypsy with our Cub Scout pack from Newark, Delaware. Our crew, Polly and Rusty, were absolutely phenomenal. They made the trip not only fun for the kids but for the adults as well. The boys had a blast with the water cannons and the treasure chest. And the grog was a nice surprise too. Even the Moms and Dads had fun with the face painting and tattoos! I will be sure to recommend the trip to anyone venturing down to Annapolis. Thanks for a great time, Mate!

 

This was the first year our camp had went on field trips and boy are we glad that we had the chance to come to pirate adventures the kids all had a great time and our Staff had a blast as well.
