- Time to blow out the candles in our party room after returning to shore

Pirate Adventures birthdays are outdoor, on-the-water experiences, and our team is practiced in adapting the story to the day’s conditions. Our experienced crew plans ahead so families don’t have to, adjusting the adventure as needed to keep the experience fun, safe, and seamless.
Birthday Party Package Pricing
Birthday party packages begin at 15 passengers. Smaller groups are welcome and can be booked at the regular ticket rate, with the option to add our party room for $125. Families from Annapolis, Baltimore, and Washington, DC choose this flexible setup to fit their celebration.
Birthday Party Package Pricing
Party packages begin at 15 passengers. Parties with less than 15 passengers can be booked ala carte at the regular ticket rate. The party room can be added to an ala carte party for an additional fee of $125.
Captain Kidd Package
15 tickets on a public cruise- Reserve 15 tickets on a public cruise. Passenger count includes adults, infants, and children.
- 30 minutes of facepainting, dress up and a 75 minute cruise aboard the pirate ship Sea Gypsy.
- Children take home a loot bag full of treasure.
- Additional favor package can be added for a flat rate of $50 for up to 15 passengers. Additional favors include a skulldana and eye patch.
- The party room for can be added ala carte for an additional fee of $125. The party room is reserved for your group alone for 45 minutes after the trip for cake and presents. Pizza and cupcakes can be delivered for an additional fee or you can bring your own food. See indoor party room page for details.
- Additional tickets can be added at the regular ticket price of $33pp/$16 for children under 3.
- Price includes 10% amusement tax.
Calico Jack Package
Private Party- Reserve the boat for a private party for up to 45 passengers. Passenger count includes adults, infants, and children.
- 30 minutes of facepainting, dress up, and a 75 minute cruise aboard the pirate ship Sea Gypsy.
- Children each take home a loot bag full of treasure
- Price includes 10% amusement tax.
Blackbeard Package
Private Party- Reserve the boat for a private party for up to 45 passengers. Passenger count includes adults, infants, and children.
- 30 minutes of facepainting, dress up, and a 75 minute cruise aboard the pirate ship Sea Gypsy.
- Children take home a loot bag full of treasure, an eye patch and a “skulldana” as a take home favor
- You and your guests will return to the party room for 45 minutes after the trip for cake and presents. Pizza and cupcakes can be delivered for an additional fee or you can bring your own food. See indoor party room page for details.

Mermaid Add On
Add some sparkle- The mermaid package can be added to any party package.
- Includes a mermaid tail, starfish wand, and mermaid headband as a favor option in place of the skulldana and eye patch.

What ages are best for a Pirate Adventures birthday party?
We say our trip is age appropriate for kids roughly ages 3-10.
Do parents need to entertain the kids?
Not at all. One of the reasons families love Pirate Adventures birthdays is that the experience is fully guided. Our crew keeps the kids engaged from start to finish, so parents can spend less time managing activities and more time enjoying the celebration.
What does the birthday timeline look like?
Most Pirate Adventures birthday parties last about 2½ hours and follow a simple, easy flow:
30 minutes before boarding
Guests arrive for pirate dress-up, face painting, and pre-adventure excitement.
1 hour 15 minute Pirate Adventure on the water
Kids board the Sea Gypsy and become part of the story as they join the crew to search for treasure, spot Pirate Pete, and fire water cannons during an interactive Pirate Adventure on the Chesapeake.
45 minutes in the party room
After returning to shore, families continue the celebration in our pirate-themed indoor party room for pizza, cupcakes, presents, and birthday fun.
Can we serve food at the party?
Yes! After the pirate adventure, families can continue the celebration in our pirate-themed indoor party room. We can help make planning easier by arranging pizza or cupcakes through our local vendors, or you’re welcome to bring your own food and birthday treats to celebrate after sailing.
What happens if it rains?
Weather is always a factor when planning an on-the-water birthday party. Pirate Adventures sails in light rain and changing conditions, but safety always comes first. Weather decisions are made on the day of your trip based on actual conditions. If we need to cancel due to unsafe weather, there is no charge and we’ll help you reschedule or move to a backup plan.
How early should I book?
Pirate birthday parties tend to book early, especially spring and fall weekends. If you have a special date in mind, we recommend reserving your adventure as soon as possible for the best choice of times.
