Boatyard Bar and Grill
[perfect_quotes id=”2174″] The Boatyard is the perfect place to grab a meal before or after your Pirate Adventure. You can walk the two blocks to the Boatyard from our parking lot. The menu includes great burgers, tall drinks, crab cakes, and pizzas. The kid’s meal comes with fresh fruit and a coloring page. The Boatyard has won Best Family Friendly restaurant in Annapolis from What’s Up Magazine multiple times.
Davis’ Pub
Also a short walk from Pirate Adventures, Davis’ pub is a local’s place perfect for kids and even dog friendly. Eat outside at the picnic tables and take the kids to feed the ducks at the small waterfront park across the street. There is also a playground on your way to Davis’ from Pirate Adventures. The menu is very casual – hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken fingers, crab cakes. Don’t miss the Crab Pretzel that Davis’ has become famous for.
Across the Drawbridge
Buddy’s Crabs and Ribs
Head over the Spa Creek drawbridge into historical Annapolis for Buddy’s Crabs and Ribs. Kids eat free with a paid adult entrée. Buddy’s often offers all you can eat buffets and crabs. The view from the second floor looks out over city dock and you can feed the ducks or grab some ice cream at Storm Brothers after your meal.
Chick and Ruth’s Deli
Chick and Ruth’s is an old-fashioned deli serving breakfast all day, grilled cheese, hamburgers, and sandwiches. Chick and Ruth’s was featured on Man vs Food on the Travel Channel for their colossal Milk Shake challenge. They also do the pledge of allegiance every morning at 8:30am during the week and 9:30am on the weekends.
Pusser’s Caribbean Grille
Pusser’s is located in the waterfront Marriott overlooking Ego Alley and City Dock. You and the kids can sit right on the water at the outside dock bar and order from an upscale casual menu. Wave to the pirate ship as she comes down Ego Alley every hour!
Pizza
Mangia Italian Grill & Sports Café
Mangia’s is located in the heart of historic Annapolis just across from City Dock. Serving casual food and pizza this is a central stop in Annapolis to feed some hungry kids. There is a playground just around the corner on Green Street.
Sammy’s Italian PIzza Kitchen
Sammy’s is located in the Eastport Shopping Center a short 2 minute drive from Pirate Adventures. Sammy’s serves authentic Italian food and is a great place to go with a larger hungry group after your Pirate Adventure. Sammy’s is located on the Eastport side of things so you won’t have trouble with traffic or finding parking.
Crab Houses
Cantler’s Riverside Inn
Cantler’s is famous for its crabs and its hard to find location by land. Make sure you have your GPS on you when you head to Cantler’s. Cantler’s waterfront deck overlooking Mill Creek is perfect for cracking crabs. They serve Kraft Mac and Cheese and chicken fingers for kids who aren’t ready for crabs. Cantler’s also has peeling tanks with live crabs for the kids to look at on the waters edge.
Mike’s Crab House
Mike’s is located about a 10 minute drive outside of town in Edgewater, MD overlooking the South River, Mike’s can handle a crowd with ample indoor seating and outdoor decks. They have a kids menu with the usual offerings.
Worth the Drive
Coconut Joe’s
This family friendly restaurant overlooking the water has a play area which includes a pirate ship. Coconut Joe’s is located about 10 minutes outside of town in Edgewater. They often have live music on the weekends and serve casual seafood fare.
National Chains
If you drive outside of historical downtown Annapolis towards West Street and the Mall you will find a variety of chain restaurants that are family friendly. The list includes: Red Robin’s, Chevy’s, Panera, Outback Steakhouse, Zoe’s Kitchen, The Greene Turtle, and The Cheesecake Factory.
