See the Cherry Blossoms
Plan a family trip to Washington DC this spring and take in the wonder of the cherry blossoms. The National Cherry Blossom Festival runs from March 20th to April 14th, 2019 with peak blooms predicted for April 1st through the 6th. Family favorites include the kite festival on March 30th and the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade on April 13th. Walk the loop around the tidal pool and visit the Jefferson Monument and then head to the National Zoo for a perfect spring day with the kids in Washington DC.

Kings Dominion – Kings Dominion opens for the 2019 season on Friday, March 30th
Six Flags America – Six Flags also opens on Friday April 6th, 2019
Butterfly’s at Brookside Gardens – The Wings of Fancy Exhibit at Brookside Gardens returns Wednesday, April 17th.
Catoctin Wildlife Preserve – Take a safari ride and visit the zoo at Catoctin Wildlife preserve. They will open for the season on Saturday, March 23rd weather permitting.
