Spring Break Part Two
Spring Break was last week for most kids in Anne Arundel County but it continues this week for many of the visitors coming to Annapolis and the Washington DC area. Easter Sunday falls on March 27th and we have listed a bunch of Easter events for kids in our area in our Spring Round Up. We would love to tell you that a Pirate Adventure should be top on your list but we will open for the season in two weeks on Saturday, April 9th. We have rounded up the top five things we think you should do with the kids in Annapolis this week if you are with us during spring break.

Creek Critters at the Chesapeake Children’s Museum
Discover animals that live in and around the shores of the Chesapeake valtrex online no prescription with this special program from the Chesapeake Children’s Museum. The Creek Critters program is included with the museum admission of $4 per person.

Road Trip: Kite Festival
The National Cherry Blossom Festival continues this week with every kid’s favorite event happening on Saturday, April 2nd. Take the Metro into DC for this event as parking can be very tricky at this time of year. The kite festival starts at 10am and kite making supplies will be available on the mall while supplies last so plan on getting there early. There is a youth competition for those who have made kites from 11am – 12 noon with a practice fly from 10:30am-11:00am.

Fly a Kite in Annapolis
The weather is looking pretty favorable for kite flying towards the beginning of the week. If traveling into the city is not your thing make your own kite and fly at one of these choice spots around Annapolis.

Discover a new playground: Truxtun Park
Truxtun Park playground offers newer playground equipment and a fun climbing wall. Kids will like the twisty slide and there are swings for those who don’t consider it a playground without swings! Bring some stale bread and wander down to the water to feed the ducks and you’ll have a great visit.

Mr. Paca’s Backyard Preschool Program
Spring is a great time to discover the gardens at the William Paca House. The preschool program includes story time, exploration of the gardens, children’s games and a snack. The cost is $7 for each child and the program takes place this Tuesday and Wednesday, March 29th and 30th from 10:00am-11:15am. Find out more and register for the program here.
