Kid Friendly Fun in Annapolis Harbor

An adventure on the Chesapeake is great, but a Pirate Adventures on the Chesapeake is even better! Come aboard our pirate ship and experience an adventure of a lifetime as we cruise through the  scenic Annapolis Harbor. Kids are dressed up in pirate clothes with face-paint and tattoos. The young crew members spend about an hour aboard searching for sunken treasure and firing up the water cannons! Lots of opportunities to set sail aboard the Pirate Ship this summer. We are open seven days a week with six trips a day, so check out our sailing times and call (410)-263-0002 to book a reservation today! This record long summer will be filled with special events which include discounted tickets for the 2017 season.

After your memorable Pirate Adventure aboard the Sea Gypsy, hop on over a few piers down for an interactive fishing adventure aboard the Sea Dragon. Family Fishing Adventures will have your child immersed in the world of Fishing & Crabbing with hands-on activities. This adventure includes catch and release fishing, pulling up crab traps, discovering local marine life and more. Check out their site for special events and info on planning a fishing birthday party!

Have a full day in the Annapolis Harbor with a Pirate Adventure in the morning on third Street, a kid-friendly lunch at The Boatyard on 4th street, then followed by a fishing adventure  near 5th street in the afternoon! This is an ideal plan to fill up one of those extra summer days and make your summer break with the kids count!

A Day at National Harbor with Kids

Hop from the Annapolis Harbor to The National Harbor and have another day on the waterfront, filled with excitement and fun this summer break! There are numerous things to see and do at the National Harbor but we have a handful of suggestions for an ideal kid-friendly day! Swing by the PEEPS & COMPANY®  store and be prepared to be fully entertained by the interactive activities, displays and videos throughout.  Check out the glowing five foot Peep. Definitely worth peeping in! If your kiddos aren’t afraid of heights, the Capital Wheel is a fun way to see the best views of the D.C skyline as you soar 180 feet over the Potomac in a climate-controlled gondola. For those who prefer to go round and round on land, take them on a classic Carousel ride.  End the day watching the sunset while paddling a giant Swan pedal boat with the whole fam.

For the Land-lovers looking for Summer Break Fun

Use this long summer vacation to take the kids into D.C and explore world famous museums! Adopt a cover identity and learn how to live life as a spy at the International Spy Museum. Play the roll of a television reporter at the Newseum in the NBC Interactive newsroom. Take a scavenger hunt through the Botanic Gardens  and become a plant expertise or checkout the current earth explorers exhibition at the National Geographic Museum.
