Start a spring garden
Gardening can provide hours of spring activities for kids. Head to Homestead Gardens for their Feast of Color Spring Flower Show to get some inspiration. Pick out your seeds and grab some potting soil to start your seedlings indoors. The Flower Show takes place on Sunday, March 13th from 9am-6pm.

Preschool Nature Hour at Kinder generic valtrex canada Farm Park
If you are looking for spring activities for kids, introduce your preschooler (ages 3-5) to nature and the world around them. Led by a ranger at Kinder Farm Park, Nature Hour includes activities, stories and crafts to inspire a love for nature from an early age. Nature Hour will take place on March 16th and 17th and will start at 10:30am. Be sure to check out the great playground at Kinder Farm and the baby goats on the farm.

St Patrick’s Day
Plan a fun day with the kids on Thursday, March 17th and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a leprechaun treasure hunt. Can’t help it, we think like pirate’s even on St. Patrick’s Day. Road Trip: Calvert Cliffs
Head to southern Maryland and follow the path through the woods and past board walks with marshy views down to the bay where it opens up to what feels like a hidden beach with views of the majestic Calvert Cliffs. Kids can play at the water’s edge while grown-ups look for ancient shark teeth. Don’t miss the tire playground on the way out.

6th Annual Annapolis Oyster Roast and Sock Burning
Introduce your kids to an important rite of spring at the Annapolis Maritime Museum on Saturday, March 19th from noon – 4pm. Taste some oysters, burn your socks and don your flip-flops. There will also be hands on activities for kids including crafts and oyster tonguing. Tickets are $25 and purchased through the Annapolis Maritime Museum.
