Irish Week in Annapolis and Rising Temps Mark the return of Spring

Spring is coming! Make the most out of this week with your kids and celebrate Annapolis Irish Week with a parade and get outside and soak up the sun as the temperatures warm throughout the week! At Pirate Adventures we have just about a month until we open for our 2016 season and we will use this weeks warmer temperatures to catch up on varnish and other projects. Top 5 Things to do with Kids in Annapolis this Week: March 6th, 2016

  1. Annapolis Irish Week – Annapolis St. Patrick’s Parade

    Annapolis Irish WeekHead to Main Street Annapolis on Sunday, March 6th at 1pm for a family friendly St. Patrick’s Day parade. Marching bands, bagpipes, and Irish Dancers get the kids into the action with beads, candy, and even green bagels.  Sport your green early and kick off Annapolis Irish Week with the kids.  Introduce the kids to Shepherds Pie or Bangers and Mash at one of Annapolis’ many Irish pubs.  Try Galway Bay, Castlebay, or Fado’s in town or head out to Killarney House to avoid the crowds in town after the parade.

  2. Ice Cream of Hot Chocolate?

  4. Road Trip: Castaway Island Playground in Fort Washington

  5. Tour the Naval Academy
