When looking for things to do with kids in Annapolis, City Dock makes a great starting point. From Pirate Adventures head across the Eastport drawbridge and check out the hustle and bustle of City Dock. Bring some bread to feed the ducks and check out the shops up and down Main Street. Plenty of room for the kids to run.
Ice Cream
Treat your family to an ice cream cone and sit on City Dock and watch the boats go by, this is a classic Annapolis experience and there are multiple ice cream parlors up and down Main Street. Family Fishing Adventures will open in 2016 for its first season in Annapolis. Quiet Waters Park

Sandy Point State Park
If you want to really experience the Chesapeake Bay take the last exit on Rte. 50 before the Bay Bridge and hit the beach at Sandy Point State Park. Sandy Point has a large sandy beach with incredible views of the Bay Bridge and across to Kent Island. Sandy Point gives you a sense of just how massive the Bay is and is a great place to picnic and let the kids run and swim.
Ballocity Indoor Playground at the Annapolis Recreation Center
Often overlooked, Ballocity is a brand new indoor playground at the Roger Pip Moyer Community Recreation Center located on Hilltop Ave. If you are looking for what to with kids in Annapolis on a rainy day Ballocity is a great option.
