Capital Yoga Studio
Get the kids moving with Capital Yoga. Capital Yoga is located on Maryland Ave. and offers two weekly yoga classes for kids. YogaFari for kids age 3-6 takes kids on a journey through nature and Twist Bend and Breathe teaches playful yoga concepts to kids ages 6-9. Playground of the Week: Medieval Dragon
It is finally spring and we are so lucky to have such wonderful playgrounds to choose from in and around Annapolis. We’ll start adding a playground each week to add to your list of family fun around Annapolis. Prince Georges County has done an incredible job of adding imaginative themed playgrounds to their public parks. First on our list for Playground of the week is the Medieval Dragon Playground located at the South Bowie Community Center. Find a dragon to climb on, a castle and a nest full of dragon eggs at this playground. It is gated and includes rubber matting making it a great generic valtrex herpes medication choice for toddlers or crawlers.

Smithsonian Environmental Research Center Open House
Explore the Chesapeake Bay with Smithsonian Scientists at the SERC Festival of Science on Saturday, May 14th. The Smithsonian Environmental Research Center is located just outside of Annapolis in Edgewater and makes a great place to put on your list for family fun around Annapolis. Learn about conservation, take a boat tour on the Rhode River, take part in an environmental scavenger hunt and stay for live music at the open house this Saturday. Find more details here.

Broadneck Kite Festival
Spring festivals continue this weekend and the Broadneck Kite Festival will host the Wings Over Washington Kite Club. The festival takes place from noon-4pm on Saturday, May 14th and includes a community picnic and free kite making for the first 100 children. Don’t miss the pirate playground at Broadneck park while you are there!

Road Trip: Beauty and the Beast
There are still tickets available for Broadway’s Beauty and the Beast at the Hippodrome Theater in Baltimore. Find available tickets here. The show runs through Sunday, May 15th with showtimes at 7:30pm during the week and matinees on Saturday and Sunday.
